Medium depth supers (also called "Western Style") can be used for brood boxes or for collecting honey. In fact, medium supers are used exclusively in some areas. That a sensible compromise: one standard size for both bees and honey! Our medium depth supers are top quality premium-grade clear pine with strong box joint construction. A snap to put together. Tough and long lasting for many years of service. Comes with nails and instructions for easy assembly. Medium supers are 6-5/8" deep.
